A Breakfast Stop in Zona Dorada
Rico’s Café was a nice breakfast spot during the visit covered by my original Google review. I ordered the Mexican omelet, and my wife had the jalapeño bagel sandwich. I gave the experience five stars.
I also visited on my latest Mazatlán trip. The written order details here come from my February 2022 review, and the recovered breakfast photos date to January 2022. They are a record of the earlier meal.

My Mexican Omelet
The Mexican omelet was my breakfast order. It was served with sauce and a drizzle of cream. It was my choice for that morning’s breakfast.
That brief review captured a simple impression: Rico’s was a pleasant place to have breakfast.
The Jalapeño Bagel Sandwich
My wife ordered the jalapeño bagel sandwich. The photo shows the filled sandwich cut into two halves, with jalapeño slices visible on the bagel.
Between the omelet and the bagel sandwich, we went in two different directions with our breakfast orders.

Coffee, Dessert and the Location
When we walked past at night, Rico’s also seemed busy with people having coffee and dessert. That was something I observed while passing by; my own review was of breakfast.
This is the Zona Dorada location, at the corner of Camarón Sábalo and Gabriel Ruiz. Rico’s has other locations, so check the branch when planning a visit. My original five-star rating applies to the breakfast described here.
